Pump are equipped with adjustable relief valve for over pressure protection.

Chemical Process Pump with Open Impeller

These pumps are single-stage centrifugal pumps with axial inlet, manufactured to grant a "back-pull-out" disassembly. It is covered by one bearing brackets.

Application:

Because of the recessed open impeller designed with wide cross section between blades it is possible to pump, without any clogging problem, solutions with crystals, muddy and/or viscous liquids, with particles or fibrous materials chemically insert or aggressive. These screw pump is a self-priming positive displacement pump for pressure range up to 16bar, suitable for transporting non-abrasive lubricating fluids.

Application:

Engines and fuel oil systems:

Design :

Self-priming, three-spindle screw pump, mounted in a pump casing. The three screws are rotaing in the pump casing. The three screws are rotating in the pump casing. The spindle geometry is selected so that there is no axial force. Depending on the operating pressure, a clearance is developed between the balancing piston of the driving spindle and the idler head. This creates a hydrodynamic balance of the spindles and also provides lubrication/cooling for the mechanical seal. The torque to propel the idler spindle is transmitted hydraulically by the pumped liquid. The spindles are thus rotating unloaded without wear.

Ideal for abrasion and solids handling becasue it does not use rotating, sliding seals, like rotary/ centrifugal pumps, more process enginners look for handling tough abrasion applications.
